Managing Your Assets and Files
Manage your uploads, assets, and files used throughout Church Space.
Church Space allows you to upload and manage files used in your emails, link pages, and QR codes. All files are treated as public, and there are important limitations and precautions to be aware of.
Accessing the Asset Library
You can manage your files in two ways:
- While attaching a file in an email, QR code, or link page, use the Asset Browser.
- Or, go to the Assets Library from the sidebar.
Uploading Files
- Click the Upload button in the top-right corner.
- You can:
- Click to select a file from your device, or
- Drag and drop a file into the upload popup.
Limitations:
- You can only upload one file at a time.
- You cannot rename or replace a file after uploading (coming soon).
Deleting Files
- Hover over the file you want to delete.
- Click the trash icon.
- Confirm by clicking Delete in the popup.
This action cannont be undone. If the file was already used in an email, link page, or QR code, it will no longer be visible or accessible.
Storage Limits
Each organization can store up to 30 GB of files.
File Access and Security
- Uploaded files are publicly accessible to anyone with a direct link.
- These files are not encrypted or protected by login.
- This is intentional and follows industry standards for email and web content, which must remain accessible to email clients.
Do not upload sensitive or private information. This includes personal data, internal documents, or any content you wouldn’t want to be publicly accessible.
We plan to introduce protected uploads in the future for content like private documents or course materials.
If you need help managing your assets, or if you’ve accidentally uploaded sensitive content, contact support@churchspace.co immediately.
