Editing Your Default Email Footer
Customize your default footer so you don’t have to recreate it every time you send a new email.
Your default footer is automatically added to every new email, so you don’t need to rebuild your links, details, or logo each time.
Updating your default footer does not affect: Emails you’ve already created, emails that have already been sent, and email templates you’ve saved.
How to Edit Your Default Footer
- Go to Emails → Templates
- Click the Default Footer button
or visit https://churchspace.co/emails/templates/edit-footer
Here you can:
- Add or adjust footer content (text, logo, links, etc.)
- Edit social media icons and their links
- Preview how it will look in new emails
Changes you make are auto-saved and will apply to all future emails using the default footer.
How to Save a Footer from an Existing Email
Already working on an email with a footer you like?
- Click the footer block in the email editor.
- In the right sidebar, click the Save icon.
- Confirm that you want to save it as your new default footer.
How to Revert a Footer to the Default
If you’ve made changes to a footer in an individual email and want to revert it:
- Click the footer block in your email.
- Click the refresh icon in the sidebar to Revert to Default.
- Confirm the action.
Editing Other Footer Details (Address, Copyright, Involvement Name)
Some details in your footer pull directly from your Organization Settings:
- Address
- Copyright name
- Involvement name
To change these:
- Go to Organization Settings
- Updates there will automatically reflected in all of your footer
Design Notes
The default footer does not apply color styling, except for the social icon colors.
This ensures your footer fits cleanly into whatever style or theme your email is using.
